In Literacy we have been learning about google earth and how to use to make a virtual tour while using the app . We started our learning by picking a country somewhere in the world then we had to write a couple paragraphs about the country and some amazing and places in it . Then we had to go over to google earth and put together a virtual tour that shows some of the places and the reason there so great. here is mine .

This term we have been learning about the maori culture . This week we have been talking about the hangi which is a roast that is cooked underground that originated in New Zealand so it has grown to be a big part of the Maori culture. Here is my work own how hangis have changed overtime.

For inquiry this term we have been learning about the maori culture . we have been learning about the haka, korwai and Ta moko which are three important parts of the maori culture . Th is is what i have learned about the past and present of the culture.
