These past weeks we have been learning all about the weather but in maori. We have been learning all about how to write and say the weather in maori like if its a beautifully hot day with the sun out we would say its wera meaning its hot. Our challenge was to create a scratch of two people ask about the weather in maori and the response. This week we have been learning all about the treaty of witangi and how it’s was formed. The treaty of witangi is a very important thing to New Zealand because it is apart of its ancestry. Our task today was to create a treaty of witangi voki which either shows us as a Maori or as one of the European settler and show what we think our issues were. Here it is

Safety

This week we have been learning about our safety and how we can keep ourselves as well as others safe. We have been looking at scenarios of when we need to pick the best outcome to try and keep us and our friends safe. So what we had to do as look at a scenario comic strip that shows people being unsafe and then we had to draw in the last square what we think the people should do to keep them safe. Here is mine
